Jyoti and Peace. Ramlinga Swami was born in the village of Marudar near Chidamba in South India on 5 th October, 1823. He lived 54 years. He had profound knowledge in Saiva Siddhanta literature and Vedanta.
One day Ramlinga Swami was deeply meditating in his cottage at Mettukuppam. He had the Divine Vision of Divine Light, He was in the highest of Divine ecstacy and his heart was melting with profound love for the Lord.
Ramlinga Swami propagated the worship of Jyoti i.e. the inner light in each human being and living being. Everyone should perceive the Supreme Effulgence “ Arutperunjyoti” spotted in between the eyebrows, get at the experience of the Grace Light . Light is Peace, Bliss and Knowledge. The light is within, meditatate on Trikuti ( the space between the two eyebrows) and live in peace and bliss.
